About MiniVPS

One thing, done well:
real Macs
for developers

MacMiniVPS Cloud Mac Workstation gives developers a Mac in the cloud. Instead of splitting computing resources, we give you a dedicated physical Mac mini of your own.

Write code, run builds, connect to CI, or experiment with inference on Apple Silicon. You choose the workflow; we provide the machine to run it.

Why every machine is dedicated

Your environment should be yours,
without someone else’s workload.

A build machine is about more than getting a good benchmark once. Your next build should still have the resources, toolchain, and directories you expect. Dedicated physical nodes make that boundary clear.

One machine, one user

During your rental, your Mac mini is not assigned to anyone else. Its memory and storage are not shared with other tenants, and the machine is not rented out on a time-sharing basis.

That does not mean every task will always run at the same speed. Simulators, compile jobs, and models you start can still compete for resources on the same machine.

Clear allocation boundary

Real macOS, not a virtual machine

The graphical interface and command line run on a physical Mac. Configure Xcode for your project, build dependencies, and use your automation scripts and development tools.

Check that your macOS and Xcode versions are compatible with each other. Version numbers alone are not enough; your project dependencies and target SDK matter too.

Your project sets the toolchain

Your signing setup stays yours

Another tenant will not replace your build scripts, change your project dependencies, or run their own jobs in the same system environment. Keep your own directory conventions and CI labels.

You remain responsible for certificates, private keys, and backups. A dedicated machine separates tenants; it does not replace access controls or a backup strategy.

Access and data protection
Who we serve

Bring your workload.
No need to buy a Mac first.

We currently offer one configuration: Desk M4 with an M4 chip, 16GB of memory, and a 256GB SSD. Check that it suits your workload, then choose a rental term and storage expansion—no guessing from vague plan names.

iOS / macOS developers

Need an Xcode environment for packaging, archiving, and build troubleshooting? Or want to move long-running jobs off your everyday computer?

For your first run, test dependency installation, signing configuration, and artifact downloads with a real project. Test device connectivity and interaction latency separately; a successful build alone is not a complete acceptance test.

Connection and build guide

CI/CD teams

Need a persistent self-hosted runner that keeps dependency caches, pins an Xcode version, and connects build jobs to your existing pipeline?

Run a pipeline first to check peak memory use and disk growth, then set job concurrency. Multiple machines can split up jobs, but they do not automatically make a single compile run faster.

Compare rental terms

AI experimenters

Want to test tools such as MLX or llama.cpp on Apple Silicon? Use a defined rental period to load models and run inference experiments.

Whether 16GB of memory is enough depends on the model, quantization, context, and concurrency. An added SSD can hold more model weights, but it cannot replace memory or automatically improve inference speed.

Six locations, one clear service boundary

Choose a location that fits
your workflow, not just the map.

Consider three things when choosing a location: where the people operating the machine are, where the build is triggered, and where the build artifacts need to go. Remote desktop responsiveness and upload speeds may also favor different locations.

Asia-Pacific: closer to development and daily use

Singapore, Japan (Tokyo), South Korea (Seoul), Hong Kong

If your team is mainly in Asia-Pacific, start by comparing these locations. For frequent GUI use, test connectivity from your location to the node. For automated builds, pay closer attention to code checkouts, dependency downloads, and artifact transfers.

Geographic proximity is a starting point, not a latency guarantee. Your carrier, cross-border routing, and local network can all affect the experience.

Choose based on real-world performance

North America: closer to teams and artifact workflows

US East, US West

A good fit for teams working in North America, or for comparing connections to North American code repositories, test environments, and App Store Connect uploads.

Location alone does not guarantee faster uploads. Compare the same project, dependencies, and artifacts to find the workstation that fits your workflow.

Test the end-to-end workflow

All six locations offer the same Desk M4 and run 365 days a year. Check the control panel for current availability. Your choice of location does not change the dedicated-machine setup.

What developers care about

It always comes back
to the project at hand.

These two workflow needs capture what we want to solve: keep the environment with the project, without having to buy another machine.

“Whatever Xcode version the client needs, we can switch to it that day.”
Technical lead, development agency · version switching
“No need to buy another Mac just to ship an app.”
Independent developer · on-demand access

When choosing a setup, bring your target version, project dependencies, and actual build tasks. Check system compatibility before switching. A cloud workstation provides the environment, but does not replace software licenses or project testing.

Commitments you can verify

Pricing, access, and data:
no guesswork.

We do not present unconfirmed capabilities as guarantees. Review the plans before ordering, verify the amount before paying, and know what to back up before you finish using your machine.

Transparent, term-based pricing

Desk M4 costs $21.7/day, $58.6/week, $108.6/month, or $295.4/quarter. Storage expansion and Thunderbolt 5 daisy-chaining are priced separately, not hidden in the configuration details.

For multiple machines, the published plans are the basis for discussion. Before paying, confirm the machine count, rental term, location, and any add-ons—no verbal quotes required.

Clear payment options

We accept USDT-TRC20 and Visa / Mastercard / Amex (via Stripe), with all charges in US dollars (USD). Actual payment gateway availability is determined by the response from the backend.

If a payment problem occurs, keep your order number and transaction receipt, then open a ticket through the signed-in control panel. Never send full card numbers, private keys, or other sensitive credentials by email.

Manage billing in the control panel

Confirm end-of-term handling in advance

Before your rental ends, export your projects, certificates, and build artifacts. Do not treat an expired workstation as a backup, or assume it will remain accessible after the rental ends.

Confirm the scope and timing of erasure for the host disk and any added SSD against the terms of service and your order status. If you need clarification, open a support ticket.

Renewal and end-of-term terms

Operations access should have clear limits, too.

You manage your day-to-day projects and files. If you need troubleshooting help, explain the issue and the access you authorize, then share logs with sensitive details removed. For presales, partnerships, security reports, or technical questions, contact us at support@macminivps.com or open a ticket in the control panel.
