A workstation for every workflow

6 locations. Find the workstation closest to you.

You get a dedicated physical Mac mini, not a virtual machine. All six regions offer the same Desk M4 configuration at the same price. Choose a location that works for your team, then decide how long to rent.

6 locations, identical hardware and pricing

Your choice of location affects the network route and where your work runs, not the machine configuration. The order buttons below carry your region into setup, where you can review the rental period and add-ons before placing your order.

Singapore

Southeast Asia workflows

A good starting point if most of your team is in Southeast Asia. Well suited to daytime remote development, overnight builds, and collaboration with test devices in the same region.

Japan (Tokyo)

East Asia development and builds

A good fit for developers based in Japan and teams working with local test devices. Evaluate interactive debugging separately from automated builds; one speed test won't tell the whole story.

South Korea (Seoul)

Northeast Asia collaboration

If your developers or test devices are in South Korea, start by testing this route. Evaluate remote desktop responsiveness, dependency downloads, and build artifact transfers separately.

Hong Kong

South China and Southeast Asia

A location to consider for teams in South China and Southeast Asia. Your connection depends on your ISP, office network, and routing, so test it on the network you actually use.

US East

Eastern North America and Western Europe

A good fit for teams led by developers on the US East Coast, and worth comparing for transatlantic teams. For always-on CI, check the locations of your source repositories, dependency registries, and artifact storage too.

West Coast workflows

If your team and test devices are mainly on the US West Coast, start your comparison here. For transpacific collaboration, keep interactive work close to your team and leave unattended builds to the workstation.

“Available” describes the standard options listed here; it isn't a timestamped inventory snapshot. Check the console for live availability when you order.

Check the route, not just the distance

Choose a location by asking these 3 questions

Straight-line distance on a map is only a starting point. The route you use to operate the Mac, the route it uses to upload builds, and the route your test devices use to receive artifacts may all be different.

Who will use this Mac most often?

If you use the macOS GUI every day, start with the location of the primary operator. Test screen response, keyboard input, and SSH stability over your usual work network—not just a one-off test on another connection.

What matters: how it feels to use, not whether the region name sounds familiar.

Where do your build artifacts go?

Uploading to App Store Connect, sending installers back to your team, and pushing to shared storage all use different routes. Test the full workflow with the same project at a similar time of day, and track dependency downloads, compilation, and uploads separately.

What matters: total pipeline time. A North American location doesn't guarantee faster uploads.

Where are your test devices and CI triggers?

If your devices are in the office and your builds run in the cloud, first map out how installers and logs travel between them. With a self-hosted runner, check connectivity to your repositories, package caches, and artifact storage too. Switching regions won't automatically fix device pairing.

What matters: the whole workflow, not just the connection to the Mac.

Plan around your team's schedule

How teams use locations across APAC and North America

The machine can run 365 days a year, so it doesn't need to follow your team's working hours. Separate hands-on work from automated jobs to make choosing a location easier.

APAC: debug by day, build by night

Singapore · Japan (Tokyo) · South Korea (Seoul) · Hong Kong

A good fit for teams based mainly in APAC that regularly need to check simulators and build logs remotely. Start by testing a location near the primary operator, then use the same workstation for overnight archiving, tests, and cache management.

For cross-region collaboration, standardize log time zones, branch names, and artifact directories. A dedicated machine makes it easier to keep a reproducible toolchain than having everyone use a different environment.

Test the interactive experience first, then schedule unattended jobs.

North America: keep CI close to your workflow

US East · US West

A good fit for teams with developers, test devices, or artifact destinations in North America. Choose between East and West based on actual network performance; a closer time zone doesn't guarantee a faster connection.

For teams spanning APAC and North America, first decide who will operate the Mac and who needs to receive the artifacts. For MLX inference experiments and batch builds, focus on transferring models, dependencies, and results—not remote desktop frame rates.

Find the slowest transfer first, then choose the machine's location.

Same configuration in every region

Desk M4, available in all 6 locations

The only configuration available is M4 / 16GB memory / 256GB SSD. The base price is the same in all six regions: $21.7/day, $58.6/week, $108.6/month, or $295.4/quarter. All prices are in US dollars.

Check the console for live availability. This page lists the regions separately from live order results and doesn't guarantee network latency or build speeds.

Optional SSD storage and Thunderbolt 5 expansion can be reviewed during checkout. Extra storage doesn't increase unified memory, so check your project's and models' memory needs before expanding storage.

Take a minute before you order

3 answers to help you choose a location

Save your answers in your team docs. When you add another workstation, you won't have to start over with a list of cities.

  • Which time zone is your team mainly in?

Note where the primary operators are, which networks they use, and when they usually work. Focus on the people who use the machine, not just the person placing the order.

  • Do you need a static public IP?

If your repositories, company firewall, or external services require an IP allowlist, write down the requirements first. Confirm how a static address, reinstall, or migration may affect the IP in your configuration and support ticket; don't make assumptions.

  • Where are your CI triggers and artifact destinations?

Note where code is pulled from, where dependencies are downloaded, and where installers are uploaded. If you need to work with physical devices remotely, include their network and how logs will be sent back.

Found your location? Give your project a workstation.

Start with a day and test login, builds, and uploads on your own network. If you need a long-term setup, choose a rental period based on your actual workload.
