Website and console Effective: date of publication

We need account and transaction records to provide your workstation—not your project code as operational data. This policy explains what we process, why we process it and how you can make a request.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the services provided by MacMiniVPS Cloud Mac Workstation (brand name: MiniVPS) on macminivps.com and through its accompanying console. It covers the processing of personal information when you browse service details, create an account, rent a cloud Mac, make a payment, manage an order or submit a support ticket.

“Platform records” means account, transaction and access records we process to operate the service. “Data on your machine” means the projects, configurations and files you store on your dedicated physical Mac mini. These are handled differently. This policy explains those boundaries and does not treat everything stored on a rented machine as information routinely collected by the platform.

This policy is interpreted and applied under the laws of the jurisdiction in which the platform operator is established. Please use the contact channels listed on this page to discuss any dispute concerning this policy. If court proceedings are necessary, the courts with jurisdiction in that jurisdiction will hear the matter.

2. Information we collect

Accounts and orders. We process the account email address you provide, along with records needed for account verification, sign-in and security actions. Order records include the selected Mac, node, billing period, add-ons, order ID, amount, payment status and service dates. We use these details to confirm what you purchased and the status of its delivery.

Payment metadata. We accept USDT-TRC20 and Visa / Mastercard / Amex (via Stripe), with all payments settled in US dollars (USD). The payment gateway available to you is determined by the response from our backend. Stripe processes card payments. We retain the transaction ID, amount and status needed for reconciliation; we do not ask you to submit your full card number or security code in a support ticket. For USDT-TRC20 payments, we record only the on-chain transaction hash to verify the relevant order.

Sign-in and support logs. To assess account access risks and diagnose issues, we process sign-in times, source IP addresses, necessary browser or device details, request outcomes and security incident records. When you submit a support ticket or email us, we receive the description, attachments and correspondence you choose to provide. Please remove passwords, private keys, access tokens and unrelated personal information from logs before sending them.

3. What we don't collect

Routinely reading project code, signing materials, model files or other business files on your cloud Mac is not part of how we operate the service. We don't use that material for ad profiling, content analysis or model training. Renting a dedicated physical machine does not authorize the platform to browse the work stored on it.

If you choose to send support staff code snippets, screenshots or logs, those materials become part of the relevant support request. Please share only the smallest excerpts needed to reproduce the issue. If support staff need to inspect the machine environment, they should first explain the scope of the inspection and obtain your authorization. They should not request project materials unrelated to troubleshooting.

The flow of data from software installed on your machine, connected code repositories, and any sync or telemetry features you enable depends on your configuration. Before deployment, review each tool's upload, logging and credential settings. Avoid putting secrets in build output or public repositories.

4. How we use information

Provisioning and billing. We use account email addresses, order details and payment records to verify account ownership, assign your selected node, display service status, confirm payment and handle renewals, billing and related transaction issues. Essential notices about your account or service status are sent to your email address or shown in the console.

Security and risk management. Sign-in logs and necessary access records help us identify suspicious access, investigate unauthorized activity, and protect accounts and service infrastructure. Security checks focus on account and service events; project content on your machine is not routinely collected for risk management.

Support and service improvement. Support tickets and email correspondence help us understand issues, track how they are resolved and avoid repeating troubleshooting steps. Aggregated website analytics help us assess page availability and whether connection instructions are easy to find. Analytics fields should not contain passwords, payment credentials or project files.

5. Sharing information

We do not sell your personal information. Information needed to process payments is shared with Stripe only as necessary, for example to initiate a card payment, verify its status or handle a related transaction request. Information handled during card payments is also subject to the payment processor's applicable privacy and security rules.

Other than the payment processing described above, we provide necessary information to parties legally entitled to receive it only when required by law. We assess the basis and scope of such requests and limit any disclosure to what is required. Where the law permits, we will notify affected users.

On-chain transaction records associated with USDT-TRC20 transaction hashes are publicly verifiable. Deleting transaction links stored locally by the platform does not remove records from a public blockchain. Do not include unnecessary identifying information in transaction notes or support messages.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain different records for as long as needed for their specific purposes; we do not keep all information indefinitely. Account information is retained while needed to provide account services. Order and payment metadata are retained for as long as needed to fulfil the service, reconcile payments, resolve transaction disputes and meet applicable record-keeping requirements. The scope and retention of sign-in and support logs depend on what is needed for security investigations and issue resolution.

When the purpose for retaining information has been fulfilled and there is no applicable basis for keeping it, we delete the personal information or aggregate it so it can no longer identify an individual. You may request deletion of your account information. If certain transaction or security records still need to be retained, we will explain which categories and why; deleting your account does not mean that every associated record disappears immediately.

Deleting account information, closing an order and erasing a machine's disk are separate actions. Before your rental ends, or before requesting a reinstall or machine release, export your projects and any files you need. Platform logs and support tickets are not business backups. You can check the erasure status of the disk and any additional SSD through a ticket for the relevant order. This policy does not promise a fixed completion time that is not stated here.

7. Cookies and analytics

The website and console use cookies or similar local storage to maintain sessions, perform security checks and remember essential interface preferences. These mechanisms support sign-in, request security and interface functionality; they are not used to read files on your cloud Mac. If you clear or block essential storage, you may need to sign in again, and some features may not work properly.

The website uses same-origin analytics to understand aggregated page visits, device categories and key actions—for example, whether visitors find pricing information or proceed to checkout. Analytics events should not include email content, passwords, payment credentials, signing materials or project content from your machine. We do not use them for cross-site ad tracking.

You can view, restrict or clear this site's cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you want to know whether a particular analytics record is linked to your account, or wish to object to related processing, contact us as described in Section 8. Necessary security and transaction records are handled separately from general website analytics.

8. Your rights

Where applicable law provides, you may ask whether we process personal information about you and request details about its categories and purposes. You may also ask us to correct inaccurate account details, delete information that is no longer needed, or provide an available copy or export of your personal information. You may request restrictions on, or object to, processing that is no longer necessary.

We recommend signing in to the console and submitting a support ticket labelled “Privacy request,” with the action you want us to take and the relevant order ID. If you cannot sign in, email support@macminivps.com from the email address linked to your account. To avoid disclosing information to the wrong person, we may ask you to verify account ownership. We will never ask you to email your sign-in password, full payment card details or machine private keys.

We assess each request based on its scope and any necessary verification, and will explain if we need more information. If a request involves another person's information, a security investigation or transaction records we are required to retain, we may only be able to provide an appropriately redacted copy or may be unable to complete some deletions for now. We will explain the specific limits rather than reject every request outright.

An export of personal information is not a full backup of your cloud Mac. Back up your source code, build artifacts, certificates and model weights from the machine yourself. Before requesting account deletion, make sure these business files have been moved somewhere safe.

9. Cross-border processing

We offer 6 nodes: Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, the eastern United States and the western United States. Your selected node determines where the rented physical Mac is deployed. Projects and files stored on that machine are processed at the relevant node. Connecting to, uploading to or remotely using the machine may cause data to cross the borders of your location.

The machine's deployment region does not mean that account, payment and support records are all processed in that same region. Providing the console, reconciling payments and handling support tickets may involve cross-border processing. Such processing remains subject to the purposes, data minimisation principles and applicable safeguards set out in this policy.

If your organisation has specific regional requirements for code, certificates or other materials, tell us before ordering which data categories and location restrictions need to be confirmed, and verify them by email or through a console ticket. Do not assume from a node name alone that the platform meets a particular industry certification or data residency requirement.

10. Contact and updates

For questions about this policy, the handling of personal information or a rights request, email support@macminivps.com or sign in to the console and submit a support ticket. These channels can also be used to report security issues or ask about compliance documentation. Please specify whether your question concerns account records, payment records or files on your machine so we can identify the right scope.

This version takes effect on its publication date. It explains the boundaries between account and machine data, payment metadata, our retention and deletion principles, and how to submit a rights request. If we later change our processing purposes, information categories or sharing practices, we will update this page. We will provide an appropriate notice through the website, console or account email for changes that materially affect your rights.

You may save a copy of this page for future reference. If you have questions about an update, tell us which section and issue you mean. Raising a privacy concern does not waive any other account or service request you may be entitled to make.
